🌿 For This Spell, You’ll Need:
🧈 42g Butter, melted and slightly cooled (sunshine in solid form)
🍍 250g Pineapple Juice, unsweetened (for that golden island kiss)
🥛 100g Milk, room temperature (from a happy homestead)
🍯 75g Sugar (sweet as a cottage breeze)
🧂 10g Salt (to balance the sweet with just a pinch of grounding)
🌾 175g Active Sourdough Starter (bubbly, happy, and alive with magic)
🌙 550g Bread Flour (strong enough to rise to the occasion)

🌀 Weaving the Magic (Instructions)
Melt the Golden Blend
In a small saucepan, combine the pineapple juice, milk, sugar, and butter. Warm gently over low heat until the butter and sugar just melt together—do not boil. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature. (The potion must not be too hot, or it will scare away the sourdough spirits.)
Prepare the Dry Base
In the bowl of your stand mixer, whisk together the bread flour and salt—this forms the foundation of your dough spell.
Combine and Knead
Pour the cooled milk mixture into the mixing bowl. Add your active sourdough starter and mix on medium speed for about 5 minutes, until a soft dough forms. Cover the bowl with a damp kitchen towel, and let it rest for 1 hour in a warm, quiet place.

Shape the Spell
After its rest, gently stretch and fold the dough into a ball. Do this by pulling one edge of the dough and folding it toward the center. Rotate the bowl and repeat until a smooth, round dough moon forms. Cover once again and let it rise 8–10 hours, or overnight, until doubled in size.

Divide and Nestle
Turn the risen dough onto a lightly floured surface. Cut into 12 equal pieces and shape each one into a soft, round ball. Place them snugly in a greased 9x13 baking dish, like sleeping village stones. Cover with a clean, damp towel, and let them rise once more for about 1 hour, or until beautifully puffy.

Bake to Golden Glory
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for 30–35 minutes, or until the tops are gloriously golden and your kitchen smells like warm sunlight and comfort.
