Today started rough, and my tarot made sure I knew why.I pulled The Man — masculine energy, force, forward movement. It tracked immediately.

Before breakfast was even a thought, Charlie pulled out pork chops from one of our pigs only to find the bag had a hole in it. That meant no meat for dinner and a very expensive treat for the dogs. Perfect start, right?

With dinner now a mystery, Mom stepped in with a little help (grateful always), and the plan became to stop by Sam’s Club after my appointment and make it work. The girls went down with Mom for a bit, giving us time to get ready and breathe.

While I cleaned, Charlie and Dameion knocked out animal chores and started gathering another load of scrap to take down. Dameion headed to the scrapyard while Charlie and I took off for my appointment — which I ended up being late for, but thankfully got rescheduled. From there, it was off to Sam’s Club to figure out dinner and stretch what we had.

By the time we got home and hauled groceries in, it was close to 4pm. We brought the girls back up, let them play, and rolled into dinner time. I fed the girls while Charlie and Dameion ran to a friend’s house to pick up a mattress for the camper.

Once they got back, Franklin handled the dog walks, and I got the girls settled and tucked in after a cozy movie. I finished the living room, started the kitchen, and then — finally — hit my wall. Too tired for TV, too tired for anything extra. I crawled into bed and called it a night.

Masculine energy, indeed.

Forward motion.

Work. Providing.

Doing.

And honestly? I felt every ounce of it.

Some days are about softness and flow.

Today was about grit, muscle, and pushing through.

And still — we made it.
