Today’s card was The Cauldron, another clear nudge toward healing. At least now I know exactly what I’m supposed to be working on—and acknowledging it feels like the first step forward.

The morning moved smoothly for once. I got everything going in the right direction, and soon it was time to get the kids started on school. They tore through their nature journal work like it was nothing, completely locked in. Meanwhile, the guys were outside working on vehicles and gathering wood, keeping the day productive all around.

When nap time rolled around, the house finally fell quiet. During that peaceful stretch, I picked everything back up and reset the rooms while the guys managed to get the Caliber back up and running.

Once nap ended, we jumped right back into schoolwork. We finished our fishing packets, made little fishing poles, and wrapped up our shark unit. After that, the kids had dinner and drifted into their wind-down time before bed.

With the wood shed filling back up and everyone settling for the evening, today felt… easy. Not effortless, but lighter. A small breath of calm in the middle of everything else we’ve been juggling.

The Cauldron keeps reminding me: healing happens in motion, not stillness. And today, that motion felt steady.
